The strategy was drafted following a wide consultations made with the leadership as well as with key managerial officers at the Supreme Court, Appeal and regional courts in Mogadishu.

Upon utilizing the past developments and improvements made and the current institutional strengths, the strategic plan puts forward seven strategic initiatives to overcome the institutional challenges and weakness of the judiciary. The strategies are the following:

1. Strategic Action Area #1: Enhancing Judiciary institution Security infrastructure
2. Strategic Action Area #2: Enhancing Independence & accountability of Judiciary
3. Strategic Action Area #3: Enhance Public Access and Awareness to justice services
4. Strategic Action Area #4: Enforcing judiciary decisions/rulings
5. Strategic Action Area #5: Strengthen institutional capacity for effecitive & Efficient judiciary institutions

The Supreme Court of Somalia , with the effective assistance of key partners, taking its leadership role upon its subordinate  courts,  makes  all  out  its  efforts  for  the  best  interest  of  the  Judiciary  being  reliable  and  trusted  by  the public.
